Customer Service Representative

About This Role

This role involves weighing and purchasing inbound scrap metal, managing office administration duties, and ensuring best-in-class customer service interactions within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and purchase inbound scrap
• Obtain required information from customers for all transactions
• Complete purchasing and shipping documents
• Answer phones and greet customers
• Answer emails and other duties as assigned by the Manager
• Provide a best-in-class customer experience
• Learn all aspects of the office operations
• Cross-train in other positions and assist other teammates as needed

• Computer experience including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office
• Ability to learn in-house systems (Buy Back Pro)
• Ability to meet attendance schedule
• Pass all pre-employment requirements including drug screen test and background check

Qualifications

• 3+ years of previous customer service experience preferred
