Customer Service Representative

About This Role

Provide excellent customer service to GFL Environmental Inc. customers via multiple channels, resolving concerns and processing transactions. This role supports daily operations by communicating with on-the-road employees and maintaining accurate customer records.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism via in person, telephone, email, or web
• Communicate clearly and concisely with on-the-road employees to give instructions and assistance
• Answer incoming and make outgoing customer telephone calls
• Receive and resolve customer questions and concerns within established guidelines
• Monitor, resolve, document, and report all customer complaints, driver route sheets, and call-in sheet issues
• Track customer information and concerns and enter data into database
• Process customer payments via internet and take cash payments as needed
• Enter new subscription residential accounts into the system
• Run credit checks on new customers
• Scan all contracts into the system and maintain records of them

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) to four (4) years customer service call center experience
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (copier, facsimile, personal computer)
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent data entry skills
