As a Creative Senior Copywriter, CRM, you will define the brand voice for data-driven customer experiences, bridging CRM strategy, creative storytelling, and omnichannel communication to drive measurable business results. You will work across teams to deliver emotionally resonant and high-performing communications.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, write, and refine multi-channel assets with a focus on email and direct mail, aligning with client objectives and brand voice.
- Collaborate with CRM strategists to map customer journeys and identify high-impact engagement moments, shaping messages to foster loyalty.
- Translate creative briefs and business goals into actionable, engaging assets, optimizing campaign performance with data and feedback.
- Present creative ideas and rationales to clients and internal teams, championing narrative strategy and adapting to feedback.
- Mentor and inspire junior copywriters, fostering growth in creative and CRM-specific writing.
- Work cross-functionally with designers, producers, and technologists to ensure cohesive omni-channel campaign delivery.
- Stay current on trends in CRM, digital storytelling, social platforms, and MarTech capabilities.
- Contribute to business development efforts by adding creative vision and storytelling to pitches and proposals.
- Demonstrate fluency with Google Gemini AI and proactively stay at the forefront of AI advancements.
Requirements
- 4+ years' agency experience in copywriting with a strong focus on CRM, digital, or content-driven marketing
- 2+ years of experience developing high-impact messaging for omni-channel CRM campaigns
- 2+ years of experience leveraging customer data and analytics to personalize messaging and drive campaign performance
- Strong portfolio of work showcasing CRM, loyalty, and data-driven creative
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field.
- 4+ years' agency experience in copywriting with a strong focus on CRM, digital, or content-driven marketing.
Nice to Have
- Agency and/or cross-industry experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative and strategic mindset
- Experience with comedic, playful, or culturally relevant brand messaging
- Experience with CRM, MarTech, or personalization tools/platforms
- Comfortable experimenting with GenAI, testing messaging strategies, and iterating based on performance insights
- Experience with LSHC and FSI (specifically insurance and wealth management)
- Strong work with social-native campaigns and emerging digital formats
