About This Role

Operate company vehicles to efficiently deliver and pick up packages, ensuring compliance with FedEx service features and providing customer service. This role requires adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles
• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provide related customer service functions

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance
• Meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to inquiries

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
