About This Role

Operate company vehicles to efficiently and courteously deliver and pick up packages, ensuring compliance with FedEx standards and providing customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up
• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provide related customer service functions

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance for customer contact
• Meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with safety officials and respond to inquiries
