About This Role

Operate company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages, ensuring conformance to FedEx service features and providing customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles
• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provide related customer service functions

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance
• Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
