About This Role

Operate company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages for FedEx. Ensure shipments conform to service features and provide related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles
• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provide related customer service functions

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance
