About This Role

This role will provide the first impression for customers and visitors, acting as a Corporate Receptionist for Amerex Corporation. The individual will manage administrative tasks and support the Customer Success Department to ensure a successful customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors cordially and professionally
  • Type correspondence, reports, labels, and contracts as directed
  • Manage the Customer Success Departmental Weekly Calendar
  • Manage break room supplies and process orders for amenities
  • Serve as the main contact for vendors and ensure they are escorted into the building
  • Maintain and distribute list of associate contact information
  • Arrange and schedule meetings as needed
  • Ensure the entire Lobby Reception Desk remains tidy, organized, and ready for business
  • Act as backup support for senior executives, taking accurate messages and transferring calls
  • Provide Level 1 support for the Customer Success Department
  • Scan documentation for archiving and prepare reports
  • Train back-up support for switchboard
  • Act as main contact for departmental safety drill
  • Pick up and sort mail

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of experience as a receptionist, and/or administrative role
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to meet and greet visitors with a professional, gracious, and courteous manner
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Office Functions, Excel, MS Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain security by following procedures and controlling access
  • Ability to multi-task in a frequently busy environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience as a receptionist and/or administrative role

Nice to Have

  • Some college/trade school
  • Previous switchboard/reception experience
