Manage the full contract lifecycle for Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) and consulting engagements, acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders. Ensure timely execution, compliance, and alignment with client requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end contracting for PBM coalition/client agreements and consulting agreements, including drafting, redlining, negotiation coordination, and routing for approvals/signature
- Support the contracting phases tied to RFP work and keep leadership informed of important activities, risks, and open negotiation issues during RFP/contract cycles
- Liaise between clients, brokers, PBMs, carriers, and internal legal/operations teams to independently resolve contracting issues tied to specific client requirements
- Quality-check contract documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment to internal guidelines/policies prior to execution
- Maintain dashboards/trackers for contract status, renewals, amendments, and signature completion to ensure on-time execution
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of employee benefits and PBM contracting concepts
- Ability to interpret policies, proposals, and contract documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in PBM or related industry experience in contract management
