Construction Superintendent

About This Role

Oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to schedules. Manage daily jobsite activities and subcontractor coordination in retail tenant improvements and restaurant buildout projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants; ensure proper staffing and productivity
• Manage daily jobsite activities, scheduling, sequencing, and progress tracking
• Enforce compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, permits, and local building codes
• Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues, conflicts, and deficiencies
• Coordinate inspections, RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries with the project team
• Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and jobsite records
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders
• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times

Requirements

• 3+ years VERIFIED experience as a Superintendent - Commercial Construction
• High-end retail tenant improvements and restaurant buildout project experience
• Proficiency with Procore and scheduling software (Outbuild preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of trades
• Familiarity with computers and mobile devices
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and cost control
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-facing presence
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage fast-paced projects
• Detail-oriented, solutions-driven leader with strong time management skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable experience as a Superintendent in Commercial Construction
