Traveling Construction Superintendent

About This Role

Coordinate project sites, schedule subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure safety and quality for ground-up industrial and data center construction projects. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with the project building team and adhering to contract documents and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project site activities and manage subcontractor and supplier schedules
• Ensure adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project timelines
• Foster collaboration with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Conduct safety orientations and inspections, identify hazards, and implement safety plans
• Manage the general conditions budget to support the project's financial success by controlling and reducing costs
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and project diaries
• Participate in owner meetings to provide updates and address project needs
• Secure necessary permits, approvals, and inspections from governmental agencies and utility providers
• Lead the preparation and completion of punch lists and closeout documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent
• Experience with ground up, industrial, and/or data center work
• Experience with precast and tilt-wall projects
• Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software
• Experience creating look-ahead schedules

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent supporting ground up, industrial, and/or data center work

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of MS Project
• Experience in construction management and supervision
• Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure construction safety and quality control
