The Compliance Servicing Specialist provides front-line call center and operational support to financial institutions and Ascensus staff, focusing on IRA, Coverdell ESA, and HSA compliance issues and regulations. This role requires proficiency in complex compliance issues and operational systems, utilizing in-depth knowledge of IRS rules and Ascensus processes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data.
- Answer inbound phone calls from clients to provide compliance and operational assistance related to IRA, HSA, ESA and other account types.
- Process death claims and miscellaneous forms related to the death claim process for deceased IRA, HSA or ESA account owners.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell other Ascensus products.
- Maintain basic knowledge of all products and services offered throughout Ascensus.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Proven ability to use effective listening and problem solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a trade-off in related work experience
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a call center environment.
- Previous knowledge of financial services industry specifically related to financial organizations such as Credit Unions and Banks.
