The Commissioning Engineer will execute service work of low to medium complexity, ensuring work is planned and executed correctly. This role involves identifying customer improvement opportunities, performing field service tasks, troubleshooting equipment failures, and making recommendations to prevent future issues.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers on-site to identify opportunities for improving operations and eliminating pain points.
- Perform field service tasks, identifying technical issues and conducting analysis through remote or on-site activity.
- Prepare material lists for service activities, ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.
- Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to prevent future issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years experience with Process Analytical products or projects
- 10 years of experience in analyzers, analyzer systems, sample conditioning systems
- Strong knowledge of analyzers and sample systems in the chemical, petrochemical oil and gas market
- Enhanced knowledge of Gas Chromatograph Analyzers
- Extensive knowledge of Analyzer and analyzer system Commissioning
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Work authorization for ABB in the US
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 8+ years experience with Process Analytical products or projects and 10 years of experience in analyzers, analyzer systems, and sample conditioning systems.
