This role is for a Commercial Truck Driver responsible for safely distributing building materials to clients throughout Southern Fairfield County, CT and parts of Westchester County, NY, acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Transport building materials in a timely manner along designated routes
- Check-in with clients on their experience with service
- Handle client concerns with care
- Load and unload building materials carefully
- Ensure each delivery reaches the correct destination
- Positively represent the company at each stop
- Keep all necessary paperwork up-to-date
- Keep vehicles and equipment maintained
- Navigate roads with utmost concern for safety
Requirements
- Medical Card Required
- Product knowledge
- Ability to lift heavy items and/or use a forklift
- Compliant with all safety and Department of Transportation rules and regulations
- Attentive
- Organized
- Reliable
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
