This role involves managing commercial lines and sports & entertainment client accounts, including administrative and operational aspects, for sophisticated, high-profile, and nationally recognized sports and entertainment clients. You will manage the renewal and marketing process from start to finish, communicate directly with clients and carriers, and lead client meetings for assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned book of business, including administrative and operational aspects, which may include large lines and layered accounts
- Maintain relationships with carrier and client contacts proactively
- Lead client meetings for assigned accounts
- Manage the renewal and marketing process from start to finish, in conjunction with Account Executives and Advisors
- Communicate directly with clients and carriers, in collaboration with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive
- Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures, keeping client policy records in the agency management system
- Negotiate submissions directly
- Prepare materials for presentations and communications
- Assist team members with day-to-day client servicing as required
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating submissions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of Commercial Lines and industry experience
- Keen ability to understand and assess policy forms and endorsements
- Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Polished verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business writing skills
- CRM experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required with additional training or education preferred
- Typically, more than seven years of Commercial Lines and industry experience
