The Commercial Lines, Senior Account Manager/Account Executive will deliver critical advisory support, high-level client engagement, and relationship management for commercial lines insurance, with a special focus on Eldercare Facilities clients. This role requires expertise in coverage analysis, claim review, and risk management, alongside the ability to develop positive and impactful insurance program solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage primary client relationships, focusing on growth and retention of assigned accounts
- Establish and maintain client trust through consistent contact and proactive issue resolution
- Initiate client meetings to strategize renewal marketing processes and advise on coverage alternatives
- Review contractual documents for insurance requirements and compliance
- Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers and wholesalers based on client exposures and claims history
- Prepare renewal submissions, including loss analysis and recommended coverage options, and conduct presentations
- Leverage strong knowledge of the Marketing/Underwriting Process to select appropriate markets, present client operational stories, and summarize claims to underwriters
- Negotiate strategically to secure comprehensive coverage and competitive premiums
- Develop strong relationships with business partners, including carrier underwriters, wholesalers, and professional service providers
- Travel 2-3 times a year for client or other meetings as required
- Set priorities, manage workflow, and timelines to meet goals
- Document correspondence, electronic documents, and pending activities within the Management Operating System
- Encourage consistent professional communication with clients, carriers, and staff
- Stay informed on industry insurance information, training, markets, technologies, and legislation affecting the eldercare industry
- Provide mentorship and oversight to account Associates and Account Managers, including their client servicing tasks
Requirements
- Property and casualty insurance license
- 5+ years Property Casualty servicing experience
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and ability to communicate this knowledge clearly to clients and underwriters
- Strong written, verbal and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree is preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent is required
- 5+ years Property Casualty servicing experience

- Professional designations (CIC, AAI, CISR, CPIA)
- EPIC experience or other agency management system experience
- Experience servicing Eldercare Facilities clients
