Commercial HVAC Service Technician

About This Role

Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing problems for commercial HVAC systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. This role requires travel to out-of-town assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including filter changes, coil cleaning, bearing lubrication, and belt replacement
• Assist in diagnosing problems or failures in HVAC systems and communicate findings to the service manager
• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the job to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe, working condition
• Participate in team meetings, training, and workshops to support ongoing learning and development
• Prepare service documentation, including repair notes and activity logs
• Travel regularly to out-of-town assignments, including overnight stays

Requirements

• General mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed
