Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing problems for commercial HVAC systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. This role requires travel to out-of-town assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including filter changes, coil cleaning, bearing lubrication, and belt replacement
- Assist in diagnosing problems or failures in HVAC systems and communicate findings to the service manager
- Communicate with your supervisor throughout the job to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe, working condition
- Participate in team meetings, training, and workshops to support ongoing learning and development
- Prepare service documentation, including repair notes and activity logs
- Travel regularly to out-of-town assignments, including overnight stays
Requirements
- General mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting
- EPA Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed
