Commercial Driver

About This Role

Serve as a part-time Commercial Driver for AutoZone, providing excellent customer service by safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts to commercial customers. This role involves maintaining delivery operations, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers
• Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors
• Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems
• Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English
• Previous experience in automotive retail
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement
