Commercial Driver

About This Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will provide excellent customer service by delivering automotive parts to commercial and DIY customers, ensuring safe and timely operations using company-provided vehicles while working closely with store personnel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise
• Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

Nice to Have

• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English
• Previous experience in automotive retail
• Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement
