Co Manager

About This Role

This Co-Manager role is responsible for leading a high-performing team to achieve top-line sales growth. The Co-Manager oversees all operational aspects of a retail store, focusing on performance, people, and process.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet or exceed store goals related to sales, guest loyalty, payroll, and shrink
• Drive company profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
• Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets for scheduling and workload completion
• Review and analyze financial and operational reporting
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services
• Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent
• Build an engaged team through collaboration, communication, and prioritization
• Support manager and associate professional development through training, feedback, and reviews
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards
• Manage inventory life-cycle processes, ad set, and planogram execution
• Protect company assets and minimize loss through adherence to standards

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system, Microsoft Office programs, and Apple devices)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment in ambiguous situations, and be flexible/adaptable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 2-3+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience
