CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift

About This Role

Operate and program CNC machines to produce high-quality components for clients, ensuring precision and meeting specifications. This role involves setup, operation, quality checks, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Program CNC machines using G-code and other relevant software
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a CNC machinist
• Strong understanding of milling operations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with G-code programming and CNC machine setup
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in machining or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong understanding of milling operations
