CNA - Hospice Aide

About This Role

Provide compassionate hands-on care as a Hospice Aide (CNA) to patients at the end of life, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with dignity and respect. Work closely with the nursing team and support families in the North Charleston area.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the patient's care plan
• Attend promptly to patient and family/caregiver requests with compassionate support
• Assist patients with personal care needs including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing
• Emphasize exceptional customer service to ensure optimal patient satisfaction
• Support patient families by sharing knowledge and guiding them in caring for terminally ill loved ones
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation
