Cloud Engineer

About This Role

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized applications. You will deploy and administer cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and develop automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency for Deloitte's clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate application deployment, testing, and environment management
• Create, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker or similar technologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable deployments
• Deploy and administer cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP-including compute services, networking configurations, security policies, and autoscaling environments
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Java, Bash, or Python to support infrastructure provisioning, application performance, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• 1+ years' experience in deploying microservice based applications using Kubernetes
• 1+ years' experience in creating CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab (or comparable CI/CD tool)
• 1+ years' experience in creating and managing containers and writing Dockerfiles
• 1+ years' experience with Linux/Windows servers along with bash/zsh
• 1+ years' experience utilizing cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) including deploying compute resources, configuring network policies, managing scaling applications
• 1+ years' experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java
• 1+ years' experience in python or bash

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
