This Clinical Specialist role at Boston Scientific involves providing technical, educational, operational, and sales support for sacral neuromodulation to meet sales and patient service objectives. The specialist will build relationships with customers and patients, offer clinical support during surgeries, and educate staff on Axonics products and therapies.
Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with Customers and Patients
- Provide clinical support in surgeries, troubleshooting and follow ups in hospitals and clinics
- Use clinical expertise, market & product knowledge to advance growth opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Educate customers staff on technical matters relating to Axonics products and therapies
- Complete proper Patient care documentation in Axonics Patient Care Management (PCM) system
- Make and receive patient calls/text through Axonics PCM system, including after hours and weekends
- Partner with Area Director and Territory Managers to learn market dynamics, customer motivations, and understanding of Axonics product value
- Contribute to the achievement of quarterly goals associated with specific initiatives
- Assist with education / training of new employees
- Manage inventory provided for case coverage and trunk stock
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with team members and other departments
- Visit accounts regularly to replenish literature and establish/maintain relationships with office staff
- Work closely with Territory Managers to drive sales growth in target accounts and key areas
- Actively participate in territory sales growth activities such as customer lunch and learns and community education sessions
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Maintain high level of clinical, market and product knowledge
- Complete all assigned training in a timely manner
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Manage personal expenses per company expense policy and report monthly in Concur
- Maintain proper credentials for Hospital Systems in area
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the medical device industry OR 5 years of clinical experience in urology as a RN
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the medical device industry or a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in urology as a RN
