Clinical Research Coordinator 3

About This Role

The Clinical Research Coordinator 3 leads and manages multiple clinical research protocols, overseeing daily operations from development to close-out. This role ensures study integrity, regulatory adherence, and mentors less experienced coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of multiple complex clinical research protocols
• Develop SOPs and templates with guidance from the PI/Clinical Research Manager
• Oversee and facilitate eligibility screening and study recruitment activities
• Manage sample processing, packing, and shipping according to protocol and regulations
• Plan and operationalize strategies to monitor, document, report, and follow-up on unanticipated occurrences and protocol deviations
• Develop, disseminate, and assure adherence to study-related clinical research best practices/scientific manuals
• Assume leadership in protocol implementation and study progress, keeping investigators apprised
• Provide leadership in identifying and working through ethical conflicts arising during protocol implementation
• Organize/manage site visits and internal/external auditing activities as assigned
• Coordinate research team meetings and assure communications across-the-board
• Assure synchronization of study visits/procedures/clinical tests with data collection schedules
• Coordinate the compilation of information needed for research reports and publications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
• Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
• Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
