About This Role

This role involves supporting the development of AI-led Diagnostic healthcare solutions by applying clinical expertise in radiology to drive positive patient outcomes. It includes translating radiologist pain points into product insights and guiding AI model development to enhance efficiency and accuracy in workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Support AI Model development and evaluation by collaborating with Research on guideline/requirements and benchmark definition
  • Test and improve model outputs, assess model drift, and provide clinical annotation and feedback to enhance model quality
  • Maintain deep engagement with end users and their feedback to drive optimal use and adoption of products
  • Represent HLS Diagnostics at industry events to gather feedback and evangelize the portfolio
  • Serve as a thought partner and clinical expert across engineering, product, research, design, and support for radiology workflow knowledge
  • Translate user pain points into actionable product improvement opportunities
  • Stay abreast of evolving industry regulations and compliance considerations and drive these requirements into product development
  • Coordinate priorities and work direction across the Clinical SME team

Requirements

  • Current knowledge of health documentation standards and Radiology reporting workflows
  • Experience in a radiology reporting setting, including image interpretation and report authorship

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering, radiology, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience

Nice to Have

  • Expertise of radiology reporting standards and workflows
  • Experience conducting preliminary study reads and/or authoring radiology reports
  • BC/BE Radiologist or equivalent, and/or 1+ experience as a medical professional in a radiology reporting setting
  • Healthcare AI or related technology experience, with a practiced knowledge of AI and prompt engineering with LLMs
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and applying medical guidelines to medical AI development
  • Supplemental education or equivalent experience in healthcare AI or healthcare technology / IT
