Provide professional nursing care in a primary and specialty health care setting, integrating clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination, and leadership roles while adhering to nursing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols
- Provide primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team
- Integrate the nursing roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership
- Utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process when delivering care
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical commensurate
Qualifications
- Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
- 1 year recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical commensurate.
Nice to Have
- 2 years recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility
- Recent prior experience in a hospital and out-patient setting
- Recent prior experience with phone triage
- 3 years Behavioral Health assignments only: Progressive experience, including medication management
