About This Role

Serve as the initial point of contact for clients and their pets, managing customer service functions, scheduling, payments, and record keeping to maintain trust and confidence in the hospital's services.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
  • Present and explain fees, including processing payments
  • Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions
  • Answer questions regarding products and services, educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
  • Maintain hospital cleanliness, including removal of animal waste

Requirements

  • Experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Personable and professional demeanor
