About This Role

The Client Engagement Specialist (BDC) serves as the initial contact for digital inquiries and calls, nurturing client relationships from the first interaction. This role is crucial for delivering a premium brand experience and supporting the sales team at Mercedes-Benz of Hampton.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, website inquiries, and inbound calls
  • Manage daily CRM tasks, follow-ups, and opportunity tracking
  • Execute outbound engagement to previous customers for retention and upgrade opportunities
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
  • Support targeted email campaigns and client communication initiatives
  • Monitor response times and ensure consistent follow-through
  • Identify new opportunities within the database to drive showroom traffic
  • Uphold Mercedes-Benz standards in all written and verbal communication

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and emotional maturity
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital communication tools
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a performance mindset

Qualifications

  • Prior automotive BDC or digital sales experience preferred
