This role is for a highly detailed and dependable Class A Delivery Driver responsible for regional dedicated routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of merchandise while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise with lift gates, forklifts, and pallet jacks
- Verify loads for accuracy
- Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Obey and follow applicable traffic laws
- Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Report defects, accidents, and violations
- Communicate and coordinate with dispatch on deliveries
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL
- CDL Class A
- Pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL
Nice to Have
- Experience driving a forklift
- Manual certification
- Experience in the flooring industry
