BrightPath Kids is seeking a full-time Child Care Assistant Teacher to provide a nurturing and safe environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. This role involves assisting teachers with classroom instruction and communicating effectively with parents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
- Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
- Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
- Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that permits children to grow and explore.
- Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
- Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Meet state criteria for child care employment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Entry level
Nice to Have
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
