Chief Financial Officer

About This Role

This Chief Financial Officer role involves overseeing financial strategy, operations, and capital management for a rapidly expanding hyperscale data center platform. The CFO will drive disciplined growth, strengthen financial infrastructure, lead capital markets activities, and partner with the executive team to scale the business globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop the long-term financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth plans, and investor expectations
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
• Provide strategic decision support to the CEO and Board, delivering clear, data-driven insights
• Build a high-performing finance team across FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, and corporate development
• Lead all debt and equity capital raising to support development pipelines, acquisitions, and platform growth
• Structure project finance facilities, term loans, revolving credit lines, asset-backed financing, and other instruments
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, rating agencies, and financial partners
• Support development teams through rigorous financial modeling, cost analysis, and investment approval processes
• Oversee accounting, audit, reporting, and internal controls
• Evaluate and structure long-term customer agreements and assess strategic opportunities such as M&A

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Experience as CFO or VP Finance in data centers, digital infrastructure, utilities, or adjacent asset intensive sectors
• Expertise in project finance, capital structure optimization, and large-scale infrastructure deployment
• Strong understanding of power procurement, construction dynamics, equipment supply chains, and long-term customer contracting in the data center ecosystem
• Track record of building and scaling finance organizations through rapid growth
• Deep experience with institutional investors, private equity sponsors, and strategic partners
• Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally including CFO or VP Finance roles in data centers, digital infrastructure, utilities, or adjacent asset-intensive sectors.
