About This Role

This role involves providing quality patient care within all clinical areas of the facility, including pre-procedure, post-procedure, and procedure rooms, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The Charge Registered Nurse will assess patient status, interpret needs, and maintain calmness in crisis situations while directing staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care in pre-procedure, post-procedure, and procedure room areas
  • Ensure Center's nursing activities comply with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards
  • Assess data reflective of a patient’s status and interpret appropriate information
  • Maintain calmness in crisis situations and direct staff members appropriately
  • Demonstrate clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
  • Maintain scrupulous infection control standards
  • Maintain professional competencies
  • Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
  • 1-year leadership experience intra-operative setting
  • Clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • 1-year leadership experience in an intra-operative setting
