About This Role

This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory treatment, care, and evaluation services to patients across all age groups within both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Certified Respiratory Therapist will manage respiratory equipment, educate patients, and monitor their responses to therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures
  • Measure ventilator volumes, pressures and blood gas analysis
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment
  • Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment
  • Educate patients of treatments, support groups and other available programs

Requirements

  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP-State)
