RN Director of Womens Services

About This Role

Lead and oversee the Women's Services department at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves managing unit function, staffing, forecasting, and budget monitoring, while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s)
• Forecast, plan, and monitor budget for Women's Services
• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care
• Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
• Support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives

Requirements

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification
• Minimum 3 years of Women Services clinical nursing experience in Mother & Baby / Obstetrics in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital setting

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of Women Services clinical nursing experience in Mother & Baby / Obstetrics in an acute care Hospital setting and a minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital setting
