Lead and oversee the Women's Services department at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves managing unit function, staffing, forecasting, and budget monitoring, while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s)
- Forecast, plan, and monitor budget for Women's Services
- Ensure high quality, patient-centered care
- Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives
Requirements
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification
- Minimum 3 years of Women Services clinical nursing experience in Mother & Baby / Obstetrics in an acute care Hospital setting
- Minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital setting
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of Women Services clinical nursing experience in Mother & Baby / Obstetrics in an acute care Hospital setting and a minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital setting
