About This Role

This Certified Nursing Assistant position performs basic nursing care functions under the direction of a Licensed Nurse, addressing personal care needs and performing limited nursing techniques for residents at Providence Brookside Manor in Hood River.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic nursing care functions under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN)
  • Perform duties to meet the personal care needs of residents
  • Perform limited nursing techniques
  • Observe and report resident conditions
  • Service residents in a manner consistent with the Resident Bill of Rights

Requirements

  • Completed or currently participating in a CNA training course or equivalent education/experience
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Criminal background check required

Qualifications

  • Entry level with coursework/training in CNA or equivalent education/experience; 1 year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Nice to Have

  • One (1) year experience in a health care setting
