About This Role

Perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse for residents and patients at a skilled nursing facility. Assist with daily living activities, including meals, transfers, ambulation, bathing, toileting, and dressing.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing care procedures under direction and supervision of a licensed nurse
• Follow treatment plan designed to meet the appropriate age, needs and abilities of each resident/patient
• Assist with meals and nourishment's
• Transfer patients using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices
• Assist with ambulations, bathing, toileting and dressing and grooming

Requirements

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide (C.N.A.)
• CPR certification
