Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About This Role

Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, delivering direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting. Make a difference in the lives of patients and their families as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
• Deliver direct care to patients including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State, maintaining an active license in good standing throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation and remain current

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
