Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

About This Role

Join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with daily living activities, making a difference in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications for all assigned residents
• Assist with daily care of residents, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed
• Document completed tasks such as daily shift report, resident records, and negotiated service agreement
• Confidently communicate clearly to other staff regarding urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrate the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Requirements

• Certified to pass medications per state regulations (Certified Medication Aide/CMA)
