Certified Homemaker - Home Health Aide

About This Role

Provide essential personal care, homemaking, and companion services to clients in their homes, ensuring adherence to their plan of care. This part-time role offers flexible hours and a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion activities and home life enrichment
• Perform homemaking tasks including light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, shampooing, nail and skin care
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with grocery shopping
• Monitor vital signs and assist with exercise, activity, positioning, and ambulation
• Adhere to the patient's individualized plan of care

Requirements

• NJ CHHA certification
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass criminal history and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
• Ability to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment

Qualifications

• Nursing student (able to take NJ CHHA exam)
