About This Role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide to provide essential in-home care services for clients throughout Union County, enabling them to remain at home.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living for clients
• Provide light housekeeping duties
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Conduct range of motion exercises
• Assist with transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Aid with oral feeding
• Check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Manage home tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making
• Assist clients with ambulation
• Provide medication assistance

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements
• Reliable transportation
