Drive a delivery truck to safely transport building materials to job sites, ensuring proper loading, delivery, and documentation. This role offers professional driving opportunities that allow drivers to be home every night.
Responsibilities
- Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct a safe work zone during each job site
- Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely
- Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
- Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch
- Ensure all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them
- Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
- Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
- Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
Requirements
- Valid CDL – Class B
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
- Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
Nice to Have
- Flatbed truck experience
- Knuckle boom truck experience
