About This Role

Drive tractor-trailer to deliver products for America's favorite brands, focusing on safety and efficiency while maneuvering vehicles and maintaining accurate logs.

Responsibilities

Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
Maneuver vehicle on the road and on customer premises
Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations
Document delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions
Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises

Requirements

At least 21 years of age
Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
