CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

About This Role

Drive tractor-trailer to destination, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to commercial driving regulations and maintaining accurate logs. This role is crucial for supplying America's favorite brands and maintaining the company's industry leadership.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Maneuver vehicle on the road and on customer premises
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations
• Document delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
