CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

About This Role

Safely and reliably deliver products to customers using a tractor-trailer, performing pre/post-trip inspections and maintaining DOT compliance. This role supports America's favorite brands and offers a 4-day work schedule with industry-leading pay.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Maneuver vehicle on the road and on customer premises
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
• Document delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
