This role involves safely delivering products for America's favorite brands as a CDL-A Delivery Driver, ensuring accurate inspections, compliance with DOT regulations, and contributing to a long-standing distribution leader.
Responsibilities
- Inspect tractor-trailer pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
- Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Maneuver vehicle on the road and on customer premises
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations
- Document delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions
- Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
