About This Role

As a Lowe's Cashier, you will create a positive customer experience by providing quick, friendly checkout and helping customers with payments and exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer for data input and access
• Ability to lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law

Nice to Have

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
