The Lowe's Cashier ensures a positive customer experience by providing quick, friendly checkout service and assisting with payments and exchanges. This role contributes to the store's ability to serve customers and communities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Ability to lift 10lbs unassisted

Nice to Have

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
