About This Role

This role will provide a quick, friendly checkout experience for Lowe's customers, assisting with payments and exchanges, and helping them get the best value for their money.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Ability to minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law

Qualifications

• Entry level with basic arithmetic and computer use skills required.

Nice to Have

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
