Caregiver/Resident Assistant

About This Role

Provide daily care and support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring their physical and emotional comfort. Document tasks and communicate resident needs to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals for residents
• Monitor resident’s physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed
• Document completed tasks including daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements
• Communicate urgent needs and all concerns confidentially and clearly to other staff and the Health Care Director
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently within the scheduled shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
